Why do I need to become a member?Art + science is a members only co-working salon. Membership is free and will give you access to our online booking system to secure your desired workstation. All members are vetted before approval to ensure our members are reputable, qualified and share similar values to help create a co-working environment that supports our members to thrive!

Are there any lock in contracts or minimum booking requirements?No. Art + Science is a co-working salon built on the core value of flexibility. We want your business to thrive and for you to have complete control of when and how you work. No lock-in contract or financial commitment. Simply pay for the salon space you want, when you want it.

What are the hire rates?Our hire rates depend on the type of workstation you would like and the number of days you book. We work on a daily rate (from $69 plus GST per day*) with a discount offered for subsequent days booked. (*$69 daily rate applies to single manicure workstation only - weekday rate. Other workstations and weekends attract higher daily rate).

What are the opening hours of the salon?The salon is available to members 7 days per week: Monday to Friday (8am to 8pm) Saturday and Sunday (9am to 4pm)

What type of treatments can be delivered in the salon?Our open plan salon design provides workspaces for hair and beauty professions delivering services including but not limited to: - Hair styling and colouring, hair treatments, hair extensions - Nail treatments - Make-up, brow design and lash applications

Can I book a tour of the space before becoming a member?Absolutely! Contact us and we will organise a time for you to take a walk-through.

What salon amenities will I have access to?In addition to your reserved workstation, you will have access to all the extra amenities our co-working salon has to offer. You can find a complete list here.

How do my clients book for appointments and pay for services?As an independent business owner, how you schedule client appointments and take payment is completely up to you. We will promote your business via our website and include a link to your booking system of choice. We recommend investing in a Square POS www.squareup.com.au to be able to take payments seamlessly at time of service.

Apply for membership
To apply for membership you'll need your ABN, current public liability insurance and evidence of qualification.

Member Login
Once your membership is approved, you will be issued a unique member portal login and password to access our online booking system.

Book your space!
Using the booking system, select the day you want to be in the salon, the type of workstation you would like to reserve, sign the licence agreement (not a contract or lease) and make payment using our online payment system. Simple!
